Chicken fried steak was amazingly delicious and the small size was HUGE Texas sizes for sure! Great atmosphere, great service with a party of 25 people we have the private room for a celebration. Everyone got their food on time and together. Even the to go cups were a good size!
The food and service is good. Just wish they were open everyday. The breakfast dishes had a variety of both savory and sweet choices. I hope the prices don't increase drastically because of this economy. There's a lot of seniors that go there for a good reason.

Now that was some good eats! I was in town on a business trip and Rancher's was a suggestion of where to go eat. I went for lunch and had the amazing salad bar which was filled with fresh vegetables. Then I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was so great! The service was good too. You can definitely tell it's a popular spot by all the locals and crowded tables. I'll be back in town in a couple of weeks and am looking forward to a return trip!

I mainly go here for baked potato's. Service is very much like visiting an aunts house that insists on brining you everything, very down home feel. Wide open room, lots of local chatter. Booth seats could use updating but still comfy

If you miss the large salad bars of yore, you will love this place. Their salad bar reminds of the one I used to find at Steak & Ale way back in the day. It has lots of choices and they are all good. I had the ribeye lunch with the baked potato on this trip. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and seasoned well with lots of salt and pepper. The meat was tender and had no gristle. The baked potato was hot, fresh, and flaky. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The food and drink portions are large. The service was attentive and friendly. Keep in mind this place is popular, so don't be surprised if the parking lot is full when you pull in. I've never had to wait. I've always been seated quickly, and the salad bar keeps me occupied until the entree arrives.
